Major Telford Company Bought by Private Equity Firm
Telford Based CeDo, has been bought by a private equity firm Rutland Partners in a £52.2m deal. CeDo manufacture household disposable bin liners and aluminium foil. The company supplies major supermarkets, including Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, Saisbury’s and Lidl and has sales of £185 million. Group chief executive David Pearce said that the “acquisition and a planned restructuring would not affect production or workforce numbers at Halesfield”.
