Shropshire Businessman expands his group in America and Far East

Dr Geoffrey Davies OBE has recently returned from a three week business trip where he has purchased on behalf of the Alamo Group the majority of assets of Bush Hog LLC in North America. The Alamo Group will issue 1.7 million shares of common stock to fund this deal.

In another deal Dr Davies OBE has struck up a deal with two companies in Singapore and Thailand. Both firms market products made by hedge-cutter manufacturer McConnell in Ludlow and sister company Bomford Turner Ltd.

This deal will be a joint venture and allow the companies to market Alamo Group Europe products throughout Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan. This deal will allow the business partners to provide training in the use of machinery and service in the after-market which is essential when trading in overseas markets.

Dr Geoffrey Davies is a Shropshire Business Ambassador and Chair of the Shropshire Business Board
