Money for KTPs as Wolverhampton cements position
The University of Wolverhampton has been awarded £24.3m to help boost knowledge transfer partnerships (KTPs) across the region. The cash, which has been awarded by Advantage West Midlands, the European Regional Development Fund and the Technology Strategy Board, comes at a time when the government is planning to double the number of KTPs nationally in an effort to increase academic penetration into businesses. Wolverhampton is already top in the Midlands for the scheme and second nationally.
