New Shropshire grant scheme available
Shropshire Council has today launched a new Shropshire Business Enterprise Fund, set up to support new and developing Shropshire businesses respond to the current difficulties in obtaining finance, and to counter the impact of the recession.
Companies can apply for support under three schemes
- Business Start Up Grant
- Business Booster Grant
- Retail Business Grant
Funding is available up to £5,000 and the fund is the only scheme of its type currently available throughout Shropshire.
The Fund will make a total of £320,000 available to local businesses over the next two years. It is hoped the funding will help to create up to 80 new businesses, improve the performance of up to 67 existing businesses, and assist up to 30 retailers.
