Shropshire Star launches the Star Idea, a Dragon Den style award for entrepreneurs in the county.

The competition prize will be £4,000. The panel judges will be Di Thompson, of the e-Innovation Centre in Telford, Peter Pawsey from the Rural Regeneration Zone, and Ian Morris of Turner Peachey Chartered Accountants.

The competition will be judged in three parts:-

1. The dragons will pick there three top entrants from the shortlist of entrants who make a presentation at the Shropshire Star’s offices.
2. Presentations will be filmed and put online for viewers to vote for their favourite.
3. The final part of the vote will come from the audience at the Shropshire Business Awards to be held on the 4^th June.

Closing date for applications is the 31^st March.
